MTH 203 - Calculus III (4 Credits)

This course explores multivariable calculus topics, including vectors and vector-valued functions, partial differentiation and its applications (including tangent planes and Lagrange multipliers), multiple integrals and the application of line integrals, including the theorems of Green, Stokes and the Divergence Theorem. The Python programming language is introduced and used. Lecture Hours: 52. Prerequisite(s): MTH 202 with a grade of “C” or better or permission of the department head. Usually offered in the spring.
