WLD 117 - Industrial Arc Welding (4 Credits)

This course provides comprehensive training in open butt plate welding, focusing on the application of welding standards such as AWS and industry best practices for weld defect identification and repair. Students will learn to prepare, execute, inspect and repair open butt welds to meet code requirements for structural and pressure applications. Lecture Hours: 26. Laboratory Hours: 52.
