ENG 151HR - Fund of English II, Honors Recitation (1 Credit)

This honors recitation builds on topics addressed in ENG 151 by taking an interdisciplinary, thematic approach to the individual works of literature with an emphasis on the historical/cultural context of those literary works. Students read and write creative non-fiction works. In order to receive honors credit, both the standard course and the honors recitation course must be successfully completed. Lecture Hours: 13. Prerequisite(s): Honors program eligibility and ENG 101 with a grade of “B” or better or permission of the instructor. Corequisite(s): ENG 151 . Usually offered in the spring.
