DAT 105 - Introduction to Data Science (3 credits)


This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts and techniques of data science, equipping students with the skills to prepare, organize and visualize data as well as analyze, interpret and communicate results. Students will discuss ethical issues and gain hands-on experience with real data sets. Lecture Hours: 39. Prerequisite(s): ENG 095  or ENG 097  and MTH 052C  or MTH 092  with a grade of “C” or better. Usually offered in the fall.
