DAT 214 - Statistics Laboratory for Data Science (1 credit)

This hands-on lab course introduces students to the fundamental tools and techniques of data science using R, a programming language for statistical computing and data analysis. Students will learn data manipulation, cleaning, visualization and essential statistical methods. Through practical exercises, students will explore realistic datasets, develop skills in insightful visualizations and apply statistical techniques to interpret and analyze data. Laboratory Hours: 26. Corequisite(s): MTH 152 with a grade of “C” or better. Usually offered in the fall.
