CMP 249 - Pentest (3 Credits)

This course focuses on ethical hacking techniques to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in computer systems and networks. Students will explore penetration testing methodologies, tools and techniques, in preparation for roles in cybersecurity, ethical hacking and security consulting. Students will conduct penetration tests, analyze findings and recommend remediation measures to enhance system security. Lecture Hours: 26. Laboratory Hours: 26. Prerequisite(s): CMP 245 .
