EMS 241 - Trauma Emergencies II (2 Credits)

This course is designed to prepare students to manage traumatic emergencies most often seen by advanced EMS providers. Topics include head and facial trauma, musculoskeletal trauma and abdominal trauma. Lecture Hours: 13. Laboratory Hours: 24. Clinical Hours: 24. Prerequisite(s): EMS 240 with a grade of “C” or better or permission of the department head. Course Fee: $40. Laboratory Fee: $55. Insurance: $52. Usually offered in the spring.
