NUR 255 - Issues in Nursing (0.5 Credit)


Selected issues that create problems for nursing and society are explored in this course. Using critical thinking skills, emphasis is placed on the analysis of issues to determine the legal and ethical implications of the nurse’s choices and actions. Lecture Hours: 13. Prerequisite(s): All courses in the practical nursing certificate program with grades of “C” or better or permission of the department head. Course Fee: $10. Usually offered in the fall and spring.
