OTA 250 - Professionalism, Ethics and Research Issues for OT (3 Credits) This course is designed to help students learn, understand and apply issues related to occupational therapy professionalism and ethics. Professionalism, individually and in the field of practice, is reviewed. Ethics related to the field of occupational therapy within the current health care market are presented. Students are also exposed to research in the field of occupational therapy. Lecture Hours: 39. Prerequisite(s): OTA 200 and OTA 210 or permission of the department head. Course Fee: $60. Usually offered in the fall.
