PHY 141 - Principles of Physics I (4 Credits)

This is a calculus-based general physics courses designed to give students a general knowledge of principles of mechanics, conservation laws, gravitation, simple harmonic motion, fluids and heat. Lecture Hours: 39. Laboratory Hours: 26. Prerequisite(s): MTH 122 with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisite(s): MTH 201 or permission of department head. Laboratory Fee: $30. Usually offered in the fall.
