CMP 150 - Introduction to Networking (4 Credits)

This course provides a background to networks and how they are used. This course covers how local area networks (LANs) are managed, the types of LANs available today and the software that LANs use. Students are also introduced to the concepts of wide area networks. Lecture Hours: 39. Laboratory Hours: 26. Prerequisite(s): CMP 115 with a grade of “C” or better. Laboratory Fee: $25.
