CUL 261 - European Pastries (3 Credits) This course introduces students to techniques of specialty European pastry production. Students bake their way through the regions and countries of Europe, creating the most popular and recognizable desserts from each area. Students learn about conquest and culture, religion and the context in which these desserts were created. Lecture Hours: 20. Laboratory Hours: 36. Prerequisite(s): CUL 140 . Materials Fee: $100. Usually offered in the spring.
