ART 101H - Introduction to Art History, Honors (3 Credits)

This course presents the major themes, styles and subject matter of art and architecture from prehistory to the present, focusing on Western civilization. The artworks of each culture and historical period are examined in the context of dominant thoughts, ideas and customs of the time. In order to receive honors credit, both the honors designated course and the honors recitation course must be successfully completed. This course meets the requirements of ART 101. Lecture Hours: 39.
