CMP 246 - Digital Content Management (3 Credits) This course provides an opportunity for students to examine social networks, social media and online advertising techniques for improving web presence. Students also explore technical and creative elements to create organic search engine optimization (SEO) to improve ranking, drive traffic and increase awareness in search engines. Students identify web-based marketing opportunities and recommend an appropriate web-based management strategy. Lecture Hours: 39. Prerequisite(s): CMP 130 with a grade of “C” or better or permission of the department head. Usually offered in the spring.
