OTA 160 - OT Intervention for Pediatrics (3 Credits) This course prepares students for intervention techniques and strategies unique and specific to infants, children and adolescents. Neurodevelopmental and sensory integrative theories and practice are applied. Developmentally-focused intervention addresses physical and psychosocial methodologies and practice areas related to pediatrics. Lecture, fieldwork observation and laboratory practice provide learning opportunities for students in this course. Lecture Hours: 26. Laboratory Hours: 26. Clinical Hours: 20.
