CHM 202 - Organic Chemistry II (4 Credits) This course is a continuation of CHM 201 and includes the systematic study of the compounds of carbon, including their structure, properties, preparation and typical reactions. Classes of compounds studied include conjugated and aromatic compounds, carbonyl-containing compounds and amines. Lecture Hours: 39. Laboratory Hours: 39. Prerequisite(s): CHM 201 with a grade of “C” or better or permission of the department head. Laboratory Fee: $30. Usually offered in the spring.
