PHY 142 - Principles of Physics II (4 Credits)

This course is a continuation of PHY 141, a calculus-based course designed to give students a general knowledge of electricity and magnetism, electromagnetic waves, DC and AC circuit analysis, optics and modern physics. Lecture Hours: 39. Laboratory Hours: 26. Prerequisite(s): PHY 141 and MTH 201 with grades of “C” or better or permission of department head. Laboratory Fee: $30. Usually offered in the spring.
