CMP 135 - Introduction to Programming (4 Credits) This course introduces students to the basic principles of programming, object-oriented concepts and terminology. Using an industry-appropriate and current programming language, students are introduced to the concepts of decision, repetition, objects, classes, inheritance and polymorphism. Lecture Hours: 26. Laboratory Hours: 52. Prerequisite(s): CMP 134 or MTH 099 with a grade of “C” or better. Laboratory Fee: $25. Usually offered in the fall and spring.
