This program covers safety, health and environmental rules and regulations; operating and monitoring a machine; interpreting machine operation and maintenance documentation and technical drawings; performing machine maintenance procedures, preventative and predictive maintenance; selecting and safely using the proper hand tool for a task; moving, handling and storing materials and equipment. The general education courses included strengthen skills needed to function as well-rounded candidates for the work environment.

Learning Outcomes
Graduates of this program should be able to: - Apply proper mechanical and electrical safety rules while operating and troubleshooting industrial and commercial machines;
- Demonstrate the interpretation of machine drawings when installing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems;
- Perform machine measurements, alignments, and preventative and corrective maintenance on electro-mechanical devices; and
- Perform calculations and test procedures on integrated machine systems.
