I. Tuition Rates for Veterans and Military Students

The following individuals are charged a rate of tuition not to exceed the in-state rate for tuition and fees purposes - Public Law 116-315 {Section 1005}:
- A veteran or military student using VA educational assistance under Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI-Bill® Active Duty), Chapter 31 (Veterans Readiness and Employment) or Chapter 33 (Post 9-11 GI-Bill®) who lives in Maryland while attending Wor-Wic regardless of the individual’s state of residence or when they were separated from military service.
- Anyone using educational benefits under the Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship [38 U.S.C. §3311(b)(9)] who lives in Maryland while attending Wor-Wic (regardless of his or her formal state of residence).
- Anyone using transferred Post 9-11 GI-Bill® educational benefits (38 U.S.C. §3319) who lives in Maryland while attending Wor-Wic (regardless of their formal state of residence).
This policy shall be read to be amended as necessary to be compliant with the requirements of 38 U.S.C. 3679(c) as amended. Questions about tuition rates and veterans benefits should be directed to the college’s director of veterans services.
