RDT 104 - Principles of Exposure I (3 Credits)

This course includes the basic methods of X-ray production, image acquisition and various parameters affecting image quality. Beam attenuation characteristics and the interactions of ionizing radiation within the human body are explained. Fundamental components of digital imaging are reviewed. Lecture Hours: 39.
